He took his studies to mind and even studied abroad at the Academie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris, France. Afterward, he went on to study at the Yale School of Architecture, completing his studies in 1934. Saarinen received critical recognition while still working for his father. His design the “Tulip Chair” won first prize in “Organic Design in Home Furnishings” competition in 1940. REFINED DINING EXPERIENCE
Like Many of us, Eero Saarinen found it too uncomfortable to dine with too much legs around us so he found the perfect solution when he designed the Tulip Round Coffee Table in mid-1950s. He dedicated five years designing the revolutionary ‘Tulip’ collection to address the "ugly, confusing, unrestful world" he observed underneath chairs and tables - the so-called "slum of legs." Now more than 60 years after, this defining accomplishment of modern design still continues to shine, the minimalistic leaves a high-impact appeal in your ensemble.
